The workshop will focus from a best practice perspective on the intersection of Design Thinking and Strategy Management tools. We will show, when you have to zoom out from your Design Thinking project and need to zoom in into corporate language.
Design Thinking is been considered one of the huge pain reliefs for corporate innovation. However, having developed a great solution for an urgent problem may not be enough to realize it. You also need to communicate it. This workshop will analyse with you on the basis of a case study with a major global metal company, on which tools you may need to convince upper management.

The following tools will be practiced by participants of the workshop:

The Idea Napkin — a way on how to summarize the most relevant usability, viability and feasibility elements of your idea, and offers a pragmatic way on how to capture ideas more elaborate than just on post its.

The Digital Growth Path — helps you to communicate how a solution pays into (a/n non/existing) digital strategy. I helps you to convince upper management in order to put funding decisions behind the next sprint (implementation) of a project.

The Product to Service Transition Pyramid — helps you to communicate your new business model to upper management in order to show strategic relevance to the core business.
